Witec Precision has high-tech equipment available for machining various materials. Additionally we have installed an Ultra Clean Vacuum line (UCV), especially for products where it is essential they are supplied extremely clean.
Witec Precision has various turning/milling machines offering a range of possibilities. Our lathes are loaded with features making turning operations possible on batches up to 10,000 pieces.
Precision machining means it is possible to turn diameters from 0.2 mm up to 320 mm. The high-tech materials we can machine include steel, nickel alloys, Hastelloy, Inconel, titanium, aluminium, tantalum, tungsten alloys and various technical plastics.
Our milling section is ultramodern having several 3-, 4- and 5-axis processing centres with product handling systems. This means it is possible to supply small quantities of products in short timescales, on the principle of “high mix, low volume”.
This set-up means that you do not have to hold stock, which can deliver substantial cost savings.
Using the large tool magazines means that set-up times and production times are significantly reduced. This means it is possible to purchase large quantities of products in small deliveries through a call-off order. So you can still place large orders without having to hold large stocks.
The Ultra Clean Vacuum line (UCV) has been set up especially for products which must not come into contact with dirt, grease or copper.
Witec has set up a manufacturing cell at a separate location to produce alloys containing copper. This makes us specialists in processing copper, bronze and brass materials etc., meaning we can manufacture to rigorous market standards.
